Derek DBo DEREK DBO August 06, 2010 Dirk has worked on my cars (GMC, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Toyota) for almost 15 years now. He does great work for a reasonable price. I completely trust Dirk when he identifies issues with my car and never question whether or not he has my best interests in mind. I no longer live in Nebraska, but I sent my classic car to Dirk. Dirk did a significant amount of work on the car in a relatively short period of time and the car runs great. It is extremely difficult to find a mechanic you can trust who does great work.

When your vehicle breaks down, you have to get it fixed. All you can hope for are honest, fair mechanics to take care of you. That's the only kind of experience I have had here. In fact, they've recommended that we DON'T fix things as often as they actually DO fix things, and that says a lot - they aren't looking for a quick buck, they are looking for lifetime relationships. I've had my cars and vans through Adams 10-15 times over the past decade and I can say that I would not take them anywhere else. I recommend them anytime anyone I know has car problems.

I spent a pretty good amount of money to have a manifold gasket leak fixed. After being without my vehicle for a week, and the repair being WAY more in depth than anticipated therefore costing significantly more than the price of parts, I got my vehicle back. I drove it for a week and a leaky exhaust manifold or manifold gasket noise developed which was worse than before it was fixed. I had it looked at again and a “new problem” with the manifold was diagnosed. So for an additional incredible expense, that leak could have been fixed. They were generous enough to waive the hourly rate diagnosis charge, but the exhaust manifold/manifold gasket leak is persistent and worse than before it was repaired and the nearly $3600… well I could have just lit that money on fire and would be in the same boat.

This is not a typical auto repair/body shop. I appreciate good customer service and know innovation when I see it. For a small family owned business in La Vista, I'm impressed at the quality and care. You'll see me back!

My son is a student at Midland University. He began at Midland in January 2014. Shortly after arriving in Fremont his truck developed an exhaust system problem. Because we live so far from Fremont (over 500 miles, the Denver Colorado area) we had no idea where to have our son take his truck for repairs. My son asked his football coach at Midland, who recommended he take his truck to J&B. Thus began a very rewarding experience for us! John at J&B was SO very kind and patient with his willingness to talk to me on the phone concerning the repairs required. The truck was repaired promptly and correctly and at a very reasonable price. My "anxiety" over having to deal with an auto repair long distance was quickly turned into an extremely pleasant experience. John took the time to explain to me the options we had...replacing parts (expensive) vs. welding parts (much less expensive, and the choice we made, as this is an older vehicle with 150,00 miles on it). I feel now like John is a friend, even though we have never met in person. We were so pleased that we chose to also have some body work done as well. Once again John patiently explained the options we had, and how this body work could be done at minimal cost for us. After the repairs, my son did come home for Spring Break, and while he was home took his truck to have the Colorado emissions testing done, and it passed with flying colors!! The "new" front bumper looked terrific. We are so very pleased with John and J&B Auto Body in Fremont, and I feel confident that as my son continues his education for the next 2 years at Midland, we have a friend in Fremont that we can count on to help us out should any future vehicle problems arise.
